In an effort to garner support for federal legislation which enables us to take back our telephones, I have created the following form. The data collected from this form shall be utiized to demonstrate to our elected officials our overwhelming desire that the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate take effective measures to eliminate the extreme annoyance of those telemarketers who refuse to leave us alone.

A brief note: Obviously, I absolutely detest being bombarded with junk emails, calls, etc. When submitting your information to this site, you can be sure of the following:
1. Under no circumstances shall I bombard you with e-mails. If you wish no further communication from this web site, simply check the "Do Not Contact Me" box below. Even when I do send out mass-emails, I shall be keeping such to a minimum and shall provide an easy means to opt-out of all further communications.
2. I shall never let any individual, organization, etc. see the information that you provide. The only exception is in the submittal of this information to the appropriate elected officials and/or government agencies.
3. All data you provide is encrypted appropriately to minimize to the greatest extent possible any chance that hackers shall be able to get at the underlying data.
4. The only information that is required is your email address and Zip Code. If you do not feel comfortable providing the rest of the information, such is fine.

Do you support H.R. 479? (This bill would make political/campaign calls subject to the provisions governing the National Do Not Call Registry. More information here.)
Do you support a Private Right of Action for Violation of the Do Not Call Registry? (Currently, only the government can sue telemarketers who call you when you are registered with the National Do Not Call Registry. There are those telemarketers who know that the number of calls that they make contrary to the applicable provisions are low enough that the government shall never go after them. If Congress were to enable us as citizens a Private Right of Action, than we could sue these most egregious of telemarketers for up to $11,000 per violating phone call. Obviously a strong deterrent.)
